The African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) was created to increase the strength of the global credit union community. They are a non-profit organization of diverse, multicultural professionals and volunteers in the credit union industry. AACUC supports programs that offer benefits for African-American credit union professionals and volunteers, credit unions, and credit union vendor partners.
On January 1, 2024, the Credit Union National Association and the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions merged to give the credit union industry a stronger and more responsive voice on the national stage. This merger was a historic opportunity to transform credit union advocacy at the federal and state levels and advance the industry into the future.
